It can be cleaned even with the wet cloth. Get rid off the feather duster. The reason of not using the feather duster is because, if it is used then the dust sitting on the article gets disturbed and gets it airborne again, and in this way it spreads to another area.

Should also take care that vacuum cleaner should be equipped with HEPA filter.
