As and when people get older the production of sebum within is reduced. Result of less production of sebum, the skin becomes thinner and dry. Moisturizing is the basic treatment to be given in such situations. If you feel that your skin is getting dry, apply some skin moisturizer on it to keep your skin moist and healthy. This skin moisturizer will equalize the effect of less production of sebum. To prevent asteatotic eczema, avoid sitting near to fire and set humidifier which will keep the room air humid. Taking above steps will prevent the situation getting worse.
