Fatigue
When you feel that you don’t have any energy to do anything is called fatigue. Fatigue is also differently termed as Lethargic, tiredness, exhaustion and tiredness. This tiredness is due to numerous reasons it can be because of insufficient sleep, depression, work pressure, anemia, jet lag, active recreation, mental stress, no enough sleep, blood loss, some disease, poisoning, vitamin deficiency, boredom and even at early stage of pregnancy. If this fatigue is caused due to some allergic reaction then it would be a signal of anaphylactic shock. From studies it is found out that around 20% of the Americans complain about fatigue and it is very difficult to diagnose as to what is causing fatigue. It is also difficult to draw a line saying that after a particular symptom is identified show yourself to the doctor.
Fatigue is normally noticed as symptom by many but very few identify as medical sign. There are two type of fatigue
- Physical Fatigue
- Mental Fatigue
Physical Fatigue: it is weakening of muscles. It is not able to perform tasks which demonstrate the physical fitness. To diagnose fatigue it is very important to test the strength of muscles. This identification of muscular strength is much earlier before actually etiology identification is done.
Mental Fatigue: This fatigue can also be in combination with physical fatigue. In case of mental fatigue the brain becomes less attentive and the person looses its concentration. It is very dangerous for a person to perform any task which requires mental concentration and attentiveness.
The other symptoms of fatigue would be similar to symptoms listed under Faintness. Sweating, dizziness, faintness, nausea and dimmed vision are some of the symptoms. Many diseases also have Fatigue as symptoms, to name a few:
Anxiety, Anemia, Arthritis, Blood disorder, Cancer, Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), Depression, Diabetes, Heart disease, Hemochromatosis, Leukemia, Neurological disorder, Wison’s disease etc
Isocyanates, amines including tyramine are some of the triggering components of fatigue.
- Lavender and chamomile are the main oils which help in soothing the body. Just add four drops of the above mentioned either of the oils in the water bath and it will help you relax.
- Rosemary and basil are also good oils for helping the body relax, but if your have high blood pressure or epilepsy then please avoid rosemary because it raises an adverse effect on the body.
- Gelsemium and sepia are some of the homeopathic medicines given for fatigue.
